The Garage / Project Tour '07 pictures
We had a great time on this tour looking at some fantastic looking cars. Just see for yourself.
Our first stop was at Keith Anderson's to see his collection of cars (including a 1945 Farmall Tractor) :
Then we were off to Rounman's to see the projects there. We drove up to his place and found his '48 Suburban and Danny's Coupe out front waiting for us. Mike has a '35 Plymouth 4-Door Sedan project which was in two places and I didn't go to where the body was at. We'll have to add those later.
Then the next stop was at Jim Saville's and he's the one that likes '38 Chevrolets. Don't believe me, just look at his collection and you will see:
'38 2-Door Sedan; '38 Coupe; '38 Convertible; '38 Sedan Delivery; & a '38
Pickup.
Here are some of the street rods that were cruisin' through the tour:
After a lunch stop, we went to Carl Westerfield's and saw his Russ-No-More project, a '33 Ford Coupe. Carl told us not to expect too much as we entered his shop, but when we entered the building and saw this thang, we were amazed! Look and see:
We were impressed by this one. The company that he got it from (http://www.russnomorestreetrods.com/) did an excellent job on it. Some of the things that stood out was: The removable mounting for the windows; the fit and finish of the pieces; the fully boxed frame; the thickness of the fiberglass; the steel reinforcement of the fiberglass; the overall quality of the work is great.
A short trip away was Bill Echol's shop:
Our last stop for the day was at Jack Brown's place where he is working on his nostalgia race car that bought a few years ago.
